Trick or Treatment

Once upon a Halloween night, twelve year old Humpty Dumpty and his four friends, Shelby, Boil, Scramble, and Poach, decided to go trick or treating. “Well guys let’s get crackin’,” Humpty Dumpty exclaimed, and off they went.
They walked door to door all around the neighborhood until Humpty Dumpty’s friends suddenly had to use “the facilities”. Humpty didn’t want to miss a single minute of Halloween. Instead of going inside with his friends, he decided to wait for them outside in his yard. He chose to sit on top of a wall to see other yolks’ costumes. His friends were all taking so long. It had been two minutes since they went inside and Humpty was frustrated and grumpy that he was missing out on all the fun that he had waited an entire year for.
As Humpty Dumpty was trying to get down from the wall, his egg shell got caught on his Dracula costume and he slipped and fell to the ground. This was his cracking point, literally. He was lying there on the ground, and his egg whites were all oozing out! His mother, Mumpty Dumpty, rushed outside at the sound of her son crying. His friends were picked up by their parents and taken home; the scene was too much for them to handle.
Mumpty Dumpty couldn’t pick her son up so she called for an ambulance. They quickly lifted Humpty Dumpty onto a stretcher and grabbed all his egg shell remains. He was losing consciousness as each second passed. Once they got to the hospital, Mumpty Dumpty spoke to the administrator. The administrator asked Mumpty Dumpty if her family had health insurance, specifically, Obamacare. Mumpty Dumpty replied, “Unfortunately we don’t…I missed the deadline to apply a few months back.” “Yeah, that is unfortunate…now we are unable to care for your son,” explained the administrator. Mumpty Dumpty felt broken knowing that her one and only son was going to die.
Humpty Dumpty didn’t make it through the night. The funeral service was scheduled for the following day at 3:00pm, followed by an All-You-Can-Eat omelet buffet at 3:30pm.
The End
